It is not easy to act opposite to perceptions of fear and greed. Just like, when is seeing is not believing, and when is believing seeing? I sometimes look back on other markets and think what if only I could see then what I see now. Markets were fought out in houses, houses I've lived in, all over the country and in other countries. I had a lot of well liked visitors, mostly friends, and they were welcome whether I was there at the time or not. The primary attraction, of course, was my computer. I had the first computer among my friends at that time. One was angry that I would consider such a thing, even though he worked with them at his employment during the day. In retrospect the glorified calculator I thought was a computer would turn our world upside down. I brought it home in a series of boxes which, prominent in my memory now, included a soldering iron. Even today you can hear one of us say, where is the iron? They mean the soldering iron, now cordless, which we call the mouse. I say this to mention for first time callers that anyone might post here. I just do not always get around to clean it up, even the prank talk, posted to imitate someone else. But since starting to post here publicly notice everyone, for the most part, are more acceptably behaved than in former days. Everyone has their own computers now, one is building a new one right now, for cad. They even, like myself, naturally have more than one, but they still come around to visit and will often pop a post or two into one of my computers. At first their entries were left there to amuse me but since I've opened it up to everyone the nonsense has noticeably retreated. BTW...Sometimes I may break off unceremoniously due to the press of physical confirmities. Davin Paralee, contemplating the gathering dusk....
