when numbers meant words

To qualify as a rabbi one had to be thirty years old and spend at least one day and one night meditating alone. Ancient writers did not have calculators or other devices for precision keeping. Forty days and forty nights did not represent a numerical time but rather it meant a lot of time or an excess of time. . This resulted in a greater emphasis on the spirit of the matter rather than the letter of the matter. One can obey the letter of a law and turn the spirit of the law on its' head.

The gospels are written spiritually, while a recording of everything word for word would follow the letter. The spirit of an event is often weakened or even lost in the clutter of detail.

Existence and the Spirit

When one speaks here  it is not their efforts to explain what others have said about God. When I speak, for instance, speak in that fashion it is only as an example, or an illustration of what I am saying about what has already been decided without me. Examples of what I am saying do not prove anything whatever. They only illustrate, which is not proof nor is it an explanation to be mistaken as supporting any position.

Of the Unseen

When I speak it is my effort to tell what I am told in a sudden awareness, at the time beyond my understanding, an epiphany within its' own context. There is only one entity in the world that exists and from which all things proceed. That is the Spirit, the one spirit, called also the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Existence variously called the spirit within the unseen. However, there are many spirits. They all motivate, but only One Spirit is the above of all other spirits. Many of these spirits support the Holy Spirit but others may war against the Holy Spirit. In this, God defined Himself previously as Existence, is the only one who said I am that I am. This indicates God is not only The 

spirit of existence He is Existence itself.

I am only somewhat versed in what others speak so I  only speak, directly as it were, what I am told within, directly to my spirit. All other voices are illustrative, perhaps supportive, but always merely collaborative at best. There is no proof that is constant. No proof can stand on its own because we cannot know all the facts. Therefore I, as well as everyone else, must take everything on faith because we will never have all the facts necessary to decide anything without faith. Wisdom is heavy, and difficult to make out from the outside of oneself.

All the spirits swarm about us like flies in the dark all wanting to dominate us so they can exist. Unlike God, they strive for control for this reason. To do this they have, by the fact itself, to supplant God. But God did not create these spirits, because God did not create Himself nor did He create Existence itself. Rather, He is Existence. Therefore He did not begin so He will not end. Other spirits want to exist, but they can only do so if they can control our spirit. so that in that way, they can become our spirit. If this were not true then something very much would in effect be the same.

Once our spirit is controlled we must follow the dominant controlling spirit that we have become. The only way out is no longer controlled by ourselves, so any change or relief must come from outside and be itself out of our control. God is the only free standing spirit and only good spirits come from Him. But it is possible a good spirit could become bad and this happens when those spirits decide to desire control for themselves in hostile competition to the Holy Spirit.

Anything I tell you comes from the spirit within me and belongs to the Higher Spirit I have decided can provide my spirit the power to seek safety. Whatever anyone does about anything I say, has nothing to do with me.  Whenever anyone becomes persuaded about anything it is to their credit alone or to their discredit similarly. I am not responsible for others nor do I seek to persuade, anyone but myself.

Only ones spirit can persuade themselves, despite what they may maintain to the contrary. You can only control or convince your own spirit or any other spirit that is gaining control of you. Everything I am saying, even now, is being said by me for my own benefit. I cannot nor would I want to, convince or convict, anyone but myself. In that effort I have my hands full.

if you can get outside of time

Time is sad, to contemplate time in the flesh and the linear passage of time that is fostered. One commenter remarked recently that if you could get outside of time it would be a healing process. Healing is a noteworthy attribute to the definition of time since if it is healing in the concrete flesh then this should weigh on the effect that time in the spiritually abstract would either overcome or replace.

However I find it impossible at this present stage to get anyway near outside of time. This is a hard idea to examine. The seen world reflects time so clearly and it suggest to me that this concrete reality may indeed be similar to a dream that came from the unseen. Everything is so real in the present but in the past I wondered how this should be. It is unbelievable what I tolerated in the present but am totally at war with in the future well afterward. 

elites' role for the unseen

Who here is pulling the strings? Stephen Hawking quoted recently in the press, intelligence is the ability to adapt to change. On the other hand I would think that intelligence was the ability to anticipate the future. There are two views here. One deals with what others do and the latter with what the individual himself does. In the prior view intelligence has already been interpreted by a the group and it is the individualist's job to react to it. So who then is pulling the strings?

Some things do not change. If anything is subject to change then we are indeed in a pickle. Therefore this view completely ignores any role for the individual and especially grievous, no role for the unseen. There are no absolutes in this world view, it is total chaos for the individual. Add to this.....

importance of Jesus to believing

You must be born again to have eternal life? Why? So how? Belief is more easily declared than actually believed. We must define our terms but we must more equally define our situations. This can increase our faith.

Why must we believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God? Bible instruction indicates we have to read and reread the Bible in order to gain the necessary faith to believe. Just saying it is not enough. But why must we believe?

Language has taken on a new dynamic in recent centuries. We already know that a child's belief as the standard is more easily attained than the knowledgeable and those rich in educated doubts. The task suggests to me that today's citizen might need to understand how power of faith is transferred to our technic rich language. Language no longer deals only with the spirit of the subject but has swept into our considerations all details of the letter of the language. This then requires a more detailed belief definition with a digital scientifically structure explanation, especially in the transfer of power.

Power does not act out of the source and benefit the source at the same time. That only occurs in the fountain of power. Jesus was the fountainhead powered by the Father, who is greater than I, as He said. So we must realize how to receive, how to accept a receivership, in order to participate in the benefit of that power.

Remember, there are those who believe in Jesus but not so much in His power. This mere essay is in its most primitive stage since we are talking about things we do not yet know.         

when mountains smoked

Miracles of benefit happen to individuals and generally acts of God disasters happen to large collectives of people for negative results, especially in early days when the mountains smoked. If these perceptions mean something. 

little and great faith, a new avenue?

How great a faith does it take to move mountains? Don't see how we can know until we are in the foxhole. This most vital of all subjects has held my attention before. It is the only way to please God. But I must do more than just confess I have faith. It is more than mere agreement with the pastor. How much faith does it take to be healed? The Bible only tells us one way, I think, and that is to read and reread in order to pack it down into our spirit. Not sure this is an entirely new way, but I have found listening to the Bible read is dramatically effective for me. The disc player I use can repeat one chapter as often as I want, enough to memorize it. I prefer the Alexander Scourby undramtized KJV. Some new translations shrink the meaning from the KJV. I am not qualified to discuss translaations but I notice simple things like the KJV will find Jesus saying let us go hence while a new politically correct one says let us leave. Also, a manchild is born becomes a baby is born. I wonder if this is just sprucing up to what we now find such shrinking meanings acceptable?

but not right now

'No such entity as time' means one always lives in the present and there is no future. This has the added advantage of surprise. For such folks the definition of forever becomes, they know they will die someday, but not right now.

Tears in the rain

No one, no physicist, nor anyone else, seems to know just what time is. But I think we can say it only seems to exist in the comparative state. This is a physically seen state and not an unseen one. Unseen time is instinctively non-existent wherein we say that there is no time in the abstract unseen state, such as spiritually, in heaven so to speak. We can only grasp time is the comparative state physically as a mere measurement.

How can we reflect without the existence of time? Not much exists very long in the physical state, not even rocks, but if we abstract from the spirit there is no end of time. I seem to have misspoke somewhere if I can only put my finger on it. Such is eternity.
